The top photography studios in Toronto’s downtown area are listed in order of our preference, so here goes!

Pros:

1. You can capture lots of looks, as the space is very versatile. 2. It’s a fully-equipped studio with both professional photography equipment, as well as natural light.

Cons:

It can be hard to find space to book during busy season.


#2 Working Proof Studios

Pros:

It’s a fully equipped photography studio with lighting, backdrops, and optional grip services. Also a natural light studio.

Cons:

Only open until 9pm. But opens as early as 6am to make up for it and the studio will stay open later for an extra fee.

Pros:

Great space to host workshops, events, small intimate parties, and mixers.

Cons:

Uncertain what most recent prices are, as they are not listed on website at the time of this writing. A bit inaccessible in Etobicoke.

Pros:

What’s not to love about a studio filled with neon? Downtown Toronto, central on Carlaw ave.

Cons:

Price adds up quickly.

10) Mint Room Studios

Pros:

Lots of rooms. Staff on site. Downtown accessible by TTC.

Cons:

High traffic area and so is difficult to find parking, no free parking. Rooms are open at the top so there’s no audio privacy. You can overhear others’ conversation in adjacent rooms with ease, and others can hear yours.

Pros:

Friendly owner. Fully set-up with lighting.

Cons:

Dim environment.
